Not sure when I'll get a chance to post the video up. But for those of you that know me well the 'Drop the pressure' by Mylo makes me do some crazy man dancing.
Well Mickey and I made it to Winchester to Sally's place and one of many highlights of our time there was driving around in her soft-top, through the English country side, not a cloud in the sky and Mylo in the CD player. Could have been a perfect day.

Cheese Rolling
Well Mickey and I went to the cheese rolling in Gloucester. It was truly mental. Basically people through themselves down a hill after a piece of cheese.
I've got a video that I've uploaded to the google video and I'll link to it once it has been verified.
I didn't know that humans and tennis balls had so much in common but it turns out they both bounce higher than you might think.

Where's Wally ? (Dubai edition)
Well I know whey Royal Brunei was the cheapest tickets I could get. They do everything manually.
That was fine until we got to Dubai and they lost a person. First there was the manual recount by the man in the red jacket. Then the man in the blue jacket came and counted. Still not happy the man in the gray jacket had a go. Then they got us all of the plane, recount. It was clear at this point something was wrong, and we were told that we were missing a person. What is the solution to a Missing Person Royal Brunei Style?
That right pull out all of our luggage on to the tarmac and sent us down in groups of ten to identify our bags which can then placed back on the plan, and with Wally's stuff (I've called the missing person Wally for the sake of the story) we could finally fly off. What do they say it isn't the destination it is the getting there.
I'm here safe and sound. Cheers dc

7 More Sleeps
This is my first blog entry that I've tried from the online word processor Writely. It seems to be very cool. As a nerd that generally struggles with spelling at the best of times I suspect that this might be my preferred way of making blog entries. Now grammar only I have to worry about.
It is only 7 more sleeps until I leave. I think that I'm finally starting to get a little excited. I still have very little plans for over there so far they include

- Mickey and I doing some very bad UK accent work
- Meeting Jess and Stew in France and pretending I'm in the Helgas add
- Go Couch Surfing and meet a bunch of cool new people

Why you shouldn't Google yourself
Well in a moment of insanity I Googled myself. As it turns out Daivd Conroy is quiet boring, but hidden away in google’s memory was this little piece of gold. From my time at UWS School of Computing.

Lassie Faire not the best approach to travel planning
Wow, so on Friday I found out that the UK High Commission is, as of 4 weeks ago, no longer doing same day Visa processing. What does that mean I hear you all shout? Well it means that I'm now have to wait 15 working days for my Visa to arrive.
With a 5th of May departure already book. That would mean my Visa will arrive 5 working days after I was meant to fly out. Perhaps not the best plan in the world to leave it to the last minute.
So now I 'm flying out on May 22nd. But Beef Strudel is still on and I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
